Merry Christmas to us!!!!!!!!

So, we just went to the doctor yesterday, and I am 17 weeks and 4 days as of today. It was a great appointment. Our babies heart beat is same as it was last time... 145 beats per minute, which is good and healthy. I was also able to get the H1N1 vaccination, which was nice to not have to worry about getting that anymore. We are going to be having an ultrasound on Christmas Eve!!!! We are very blessed and excited, although that day has just become a whole lot busier for us, we are happy to share our excitement and be with our families for the holiday season. We hope that everyone has a great holiday season and gets everything they want. I just know we are definately getting more than we want, but it's soooo worth it!

Heart Beat!

On Tuesday, November 5th it became more real for us. We got to hear the heartbeat of our little one, which was amazing. We are happy to report that everything seems to be just fine so far. 145 beats per minute... WOW! That is fast. We are still planning on keeping the gender a surprise until baby decides to show up. We have faith that we can do it and play the waiting game. It's really hard to find things that are gender neutral, oh well, we will manage. We wish everyone the best and hope all is well!

NO MORE SALSA!

Seeing as the Salsa smell, taste, and touch of the tomatoes has made me extremely sick since I have been pregnant, they are transferring me out of that department and into the candy department. I will have an earlier schedule, which will be good since I do get my morning sickness in the late afternoons. We are very happy for this decision and what a blessing it's going to be for us. WE ARE EXPECTING...

For those of you who don't know, we are expecting a little one. Our approximate due date is May 13th. I did not want to post until I went to the doctor. This is how we told the family...

Riley already knew this was going to be one of his Birthday presents, so we could catch it on video with everyone's reactions. Sadly, I don't know how to transfer them onto the computer.

For further information, we are going to do our best not to find out the gender and to keep the names a secret. Thank you for everyone's support.

California

Over the summer, Riley and I had a chance to go out and enjoy time with the entire family in California. It was a wonderful trip and we miss them very much. We did a lot of swimming, went to San Fransisco, and just enjoyed relaxing with the family. I am very greatful to have a wonderful family that loves and cares for us so much. Here are some pictures from the trip...




It was a very windy day, but we had a ton of fun going on a boat tour early in the morning. We were a little dissappointed when we were supposed to be going to Alcatraz, but the tickets were sold out. Oh well, maybe next time.

My Dad wanted to pretend he was one of those silver guys, but we ended up calling him and my mother the "yellow jackets." We were very glad they had them, they really did come in handy... Riley and I were looking at the Sea Lions once we had realized everyone just left us standing there, so we just made our way and looked for the "Yellow Jackets." hahaha.

We did a lot of swimming and got some pretty good pictures there.

All together, It was a wonderful trip and we wish we could do it over again sooner than later. There are just too many picture's to post on here, but we hope you enjoy. Much love to everyone. :D

SALSA!

So the other day at work (I make salsa at a local grocery store) I spilled one of my tubs of salsa. That's right... 50 lbs. of Salsa LOST! I had it on one of my produce carts and it just slipped right off all over the produce backroom floor. Luckily I had made 100 lbs. of Salsa. We just lost all of the medium, and had a lot of mild for that day. I was finally able to tell my boss, but he just laughed. Oh and as anyone would do is he just teases me about it now. I have a couple of new nicknames from the produce guys... like... Crash, or Spaz! But if you know me... YOU KNOW IT'S TRUE! hahaha! Hope everyone gets a good laugh out of this and have a wonderful day!

WAY BEHIND

I have been way behind on my blogging. We have been very busy with family things lately and absolutely LOVE our new computer!
We had to get a bunch of stuff taken care of with our cars.
I had to get the Safety and Emissions done on mine, and we are going on Tuesday to get Riley's car checked out since the check engine light just went on.
As far as work goes, I am now known as the Salsa girl, where I am usually back in the produce department making fresh salsa all day. It is time consuming, but I love it cause it keeps me busy. The only bad part is when it splashes up into my eye.
There is not too much exciting news for us, but I will try to be better about updating everyone. I am feeling like being a little more productive than usual this morning. We hope all is well with everyone and hope to hear from you soon!

NEW COMPUTER!

Hey everyone! We now officially have our own computer with the internet. It is wonderful. We are so happy to be home more often and it will be especially nice when Riley is back to school and so we don't have to borrow parents computers. Have a good day and please keep in touch.

Strawberry Jam

My mom bought us a lot of strawberries for easter, since we have so much candy already. So we took a night out of the week and made strawberry jam together. It is so yummy. It is actually filling up most of the room in our freezer. It's great, cause I don't like store bought jam. Come to think of it, not many of us in my family do. It was a fun night and I hope to do it again next year.

Scrapbooking

I love Scrapbooking! Lately, I have been doing a lot of it with my friends and my Mom. It is a blast! I am finally almost done with my wedding book. I hope to have that done soon, so I can move on with other stuff I need to catch up on. I love making birthday cards for my friends and family. Infact I am doing some right now with one of my friends. Well, I hope all is well with everyone! I hope you all had a Happy Easter!

Oh I don't know why I am having a hard time figuring out this blog thing, but eventually it will get better. Please don't be too anxious to see new pictures. I am really trying hard to finally figure out how to do a blog. I hope everyone had a great April Fools day. Unfortunately we didn't get around to playing any tricks, but that's ok.

A year and a Half

Wow! I can't believe it has almost been a year and a half since Riley and I got married! I am so greatful for my wonderful husband. I have finally started a blog and hope you all enjoy it!
