It's Been awhile!

We just celebrated our cute little girls first Birthday! She had a butterfly Birthday party with family and a few close friends. She was soooo cute about everything and LOVED her cake and Ice cream. She was very spoiled with gifts and enjoyed every minute of it. I attempted to make a butterfly cake, which we ended up calling the "puddlefly." The frosting turned out a little more runny than I intended, but it still looked cute. I tried to make the cake come out smoothly the first time, but failed, so instead of wasting that cake, I made a desert called "Death By Chocolate." In the end we had two cakes, and they were good. But lets just say that is A LOT of cake! haha. Well, I have learned my lesson this year, and will try to work on my cake making skills before she turns two. haha. Happy Birthday little one!
